What it is
Two women at war drive this long revenge melodrama. Adel enters a wealthy household under a false name, and the woman she has come for is no easy mark: Jamie Suthern is clever and volatile, and she fights back. Among Adel's weapons is seduction, aimed at Jamie's husband, Tony Bay. Across ninety-five episodes the story runs on a cycle of expulsion and return, with Adel cast out three times and back each time. Tiankai Cao and Yi Zuo head the cast of this 2024 release, which DramaBox credits with a little over two million views. Beyond the first three free episodes, it runs on a weekly pass or coins.
Verdict
Reviewed by the editor
Adel is an antiheroine, and a cold one, whose tools are seduction and sabotage and whose enemy is her equal. Two capable women going at each other puts more bite in the revenge than a villain-and-victim pairing would. Stretched over so many episodes, the repeated expulsions could start to feel like a loop.
